We are selling a 10-rank Estey reed organ, walnut case, with two manuals and pedals and matching bench. It is a Style K 59 church organ built in 1904 with matching decorative (and detachable) pipe façade. The organ graced the Methodist Episcopal (UMC) church in Dauphin, PA for more than 100 years until the church's closure.
The console stands at 67" tall, 55" wide, and 32.5" deep without the pipe top, and reaches to 9'5" high with the top in place.
Please note that the pipes are purely decorative and the organ is fully functional without the top in place. The organ has a graduated swell shoe that opens the reed boxes as well as shutters on the back of the cabinet, allowing for substantial volume control. The organ is fully functional and has wonderful tonal variety in the stop tones, and a powerful, commanding bass. The organ comes with a small wind unit, but would benefit from a more powerful motor.
The buyer will be responsible for arranging professional moving of the organ (seller is happy to make recommendations). I do have more detailed pictures and video that I can email upon request.
Please contact me to make arrangements to view and play the organ. Reasonable offers will be considered.
