More InformationSerial Number 3698, built in 1900. It has a quarter-sawn white oak case and comes with the original matching bench. The 2-manual keyboard is in excellent condition; there are 20 draw stops and a full (30-note) pedal board. All the original stop faces are intact, but two of the knobs have been twisted off the shafts. Reeds are in superb condition.
Originally a hand pumper, later fitted with a Ross water motor. The water valve base survives on the organ's front; bellows handle and wind feeders are gone but main reservoir is intact.
Impressive in size and appearance, it measures approximately 4.5 feet back-to-front, 7 feet wide, 10.5 feet tall.
Overall excellent condition but in need of a total restoration.
Currently the organ is partially disassembled and in clean, climate-controlled storage in north central Ohio. I'm reluctant to let it go, but I've simply run out of space and my interests have shifted.
